My parents shop there during the 80's! Not in that particular location but the location on Dixie Dr. I still shop there because of the prices, the service and most if all I'm able to find things there that other store don't carry! Fertilizes are reasonable (cheaper than home depot) bug killers, plant stakes, and plumbing and accessories! Personal service for seniors and the neighborhood. Highly recommend! Love this place! Five stars!

It was so surprising to us the first time we went here, they have almost everything that we could need and it has saved us many trips out to Home Depot. Also, the employees are exceptional. Very upbeat, helpful, and friendly. We really like having this place in our neighborhood

Great establishment just Bad customers. Went in to buy screws, asked the associate for help, and she told me what you see is what you get. People have pocketed every screw in stock instead of bagging and opened the package to steal those also. This store is a Hidden Gem in South Houston for Simple Hardware pickups.

I had bought a replacement part from one of the big boxes that didn’t work, so while shopping at Dixie, Victor asked if I needed some help. The part in question was an indoor table lamp socket. He asked if it was single pole or two pole? “Definitely single pole” I said and we found the right part at the right price. I just want to thank Victor for his professional care in my time of need. Keep up the great customer service! 🤗

This is the absolute best place in the city to get your keys duplicated or cut. None of those machines at Home Depot ever work for me, these guys always do it right.
